Sarawak is situated in the northwest of Borneo and is the largest state in Malaysia, covering an area of 124450 square kilometers in length. Sarawak also boasts an expansive network of rivers, rainforests, mangroves, swamp forests, mountain, beaches and the world's oldest and largest limestone caves.

Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak is one of the most unique and appealing city in Asia.   Five star hotels blend in with gracious historical buildings lined the city with an old and new aura. There are ornate chinese temples, many fine examples of colonial-style architecture, a beautiful waterfront and a number of interesting museums. Kuching is also the ideal base from which to go exploring. There are a number of national parks, namely the famous Bako, home to the rare proboscis monkey, Gunung Gading, where giant Rafflesia Flowers bloom and Kubah, with its rare palms and orchids. Kuching has no zoo but has two very interesting animal center. Matang Wildlife Center and Semenggoh Orang Utan Sanctuary offers a glimpse of the wildlife that can be found in abundance in Sarawak. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, there are a few beach resort to choose from.

Miri, the second largest city in Sarawak is fast becoming a favorite stops for tourists. This town, also known as the oil town is famous for its limestones caves. Niah caves consists of the Great Cave, the Painted Cave and the Trader's Cave. The discovery of the oldest human remains in Southeast Asia along with other pre-historic relics in this cave makes this Borneo's most important archeological site. The Mulu Caves Complex contains 4 show caves which you can journey into the Wind, Clearwater, Deer and Lang's Caves. For the more adventurous ones, you could even climb up the famous Pinnacles!
