The Fairy Caves and the Wind Caves are located in the Bau district, formerly a gold mining town in the 19th century.   The Fairy Caves are known as such due to the formation of limestone stalagmites and stalactites shaped like statues of fairies.

Located just twenty minutes away from the Fairly Caves are the Wind Caves.   It is said that when you walk through the caves, you will feel strong winds blowing through the caves, hence the name the Wind Caves.
