To get to the park, there are a number of ways to do so, located about 37 kilometers from the city; it takes 30 minutes by land and 25 minutes by boat.   Bako National Park offers a wide range of vegetation, wildlife and coastline covered by small bays, coves and beaches.

The park also has a number of well-marked trails offering you a chance to enjoy the beautiful beach and watch the magnificent sunset, as the colours of the sky slowly changes, providing you an unforgettable view of the mountains.
